Colours.

Colour canvas is also available, please contact to discuss your requirements and extra cost.

The colours available are shown below, but please bear in mind that there can be variation in colour depending on batch and supplier.

Flags and Ribbons.

Flags and ribbons can be supplied in a range of bright colours for tying to the tops of the poles.

Flags are stitched pennants with chord sewn in them to tie to the poles.

Ribbons are a cheaper option of strips of material to tie to the poles.

Ground Sheets.

These are supplied in fire retardant PVC, and are cut to a circle to fit the tent.

The ground sheet can have a circle cut from the centre creating a ‘donut’ effect to allow a nice dry area for sitting/sleeping, but still having the option of a fire in the middle.

Painting.

The tipis can be painted, though I do not do this personally. Not being an artist of the painting type, I would hate to mess up a very large expanse of canvas!!


	Cooking Implements.

		Trivet. Ideal for boiling the kettle, or cooking your beans on an open fire. Three legs means you can always stand it flat for safer cooking. Very strong - has been used to stand on to gain a little height on occasions!! (Not recommended on grass - it sinks!) Finished in mat black paint. This one has been well used and abused. Price: £25

‘The Toaster’

A hand forged toasting rack for use on the open fire.

Fully adjustable for height on the metal pole. (Browning control!)
Can cope with two slices of toast.

Once again a well used example - very popular at festivals where crumpets always seem to go down well.

Finished in mat black.

Please note that these items are hand made, not mass produced so slight variations are to be expected.

If you have an idea for something else along these lines, then I will be willing to consider making them to your design.


		Wood Burners. It is possible to use a wood burner inside the tipi instead of an open fire. If used, it is important that the flue does not touch the canvas, as long as their is a short length of chimney directing the smoke upward, the natural ventilation system of the tipi will do the rest. If the burner is to be used in a yurt, then the roof can have a fire retardant flue collar fitted so the chimney can pass all the way through the roof. These wood burners are made to order by a friend, so any shape or size is an option.
