The Indian Tipi by Reginald and Gladys Laubin is a fairly comprehensive guide to tipis. Covering just about everything from the history, through making a tipi, pitching it, and living in it, right through to different tribal variations and colour schemes. For anyone wanting to find out more about tipis you couldn’t find a better place to start.
Tipi living by Patrick Whitefield, although only little more than a pamphlet is equally informative, having been written by someone who spent eight years living in his tipi near Glastonbury.
Yurts, Tipis & Benders, Good for inspiration, good for pics, nice on benders. If you want a nice, general hardback book on the topic this is for you.
